Gimme yer number, I wanna see ya later...
Standing in the rain: Catching a cold later on

Getting hit by the crazy, sweaty rempits over-moshing: Ouch everywhere

Rising cases of H1N1: Being part of the statistics

Two bottles of water: RM10.

Watching Hoobastank play right in front of your eyes: Priceless.

For everything else, there's no Mastercard and I sure am feeling the aches in every fibre of muscle I have in me.

MTV World Stage.

We stood there since 3pm, allllll the way to near midnight.

To entertain the people waiting since...I don't know when...

They put this local singer on stage, I forgot his name, but he practically sang his song to the moves of the great MJ.

MJ's moves are great, but should you really follow them all to a T when you're trying to become an artiste of your own? :P

Cute moves though :)

When it started off, my friends and I were up front, closest to the stage when these few dudes started going crazy for Estranged. (seriously??)

Lol, their music's good, and their drummer's eyes were demonic red, but we(the people standing next to them crazy kids) think they came after snorting some coke or taking something illegal.

THE GUY'S T-SHIRT WAS LITERALLY SOAKED WITH HIS OWN SWEAT. EW.

I bet if you wrung that t-shirt, you could douse a whole forest fire.

And I was standing right next to him.

And he wouldn't back off.

And I wouldn't either.

F' off, I'm not giving up my spot til Doug Robb finishes.

Then Boys Like Girls performed! Wow, the lead was kinda efffeminate.. Haha.

Not that I have anything against girly guys, but I could never have thought so just by listening to their music.

They played The Great Escape! :) :)

I love that juvy song.

The effing rempit(complete with the tight pants and the thick-rimmed glasses and his other similiar friends) was still sweating next to me.

Halfway through Boys Like Girls, I gladly let the crowd push me away from that sweating entity.

Then someone from the band threw their wattle bottle at the crowd, the bottle landed right on top of my friend and I, we got totally drenched! And someone else took the bottle away.

:P

Hahahah, and they threw their setlist, I got it, kept it, went to the mamak later on and left it there... :P

After BLG, I think it was Raygun! :)

I've never heard of them before that night, but wow.

They are GOOD.

I got this whole Rolling Stones vibe from them.

Even the vocalist had this Keith Richards/Mick Jagger swagger!!

And their songs are sooooo catchy, you just gotta listen to them!

*See you later, see you later, I wanna see you later..
Gimme your number, I wanna see you later..."

*runs out to get ten of their albums*

So after that, some artistes performed and there was a quick break. I'm not sure which one came first.

Pixielott, methinks.

But what an odd artiste line up!

It was all rock, and suddenly there was a pop singer, Pixielott.

So...weird.

It's almost like throwing Celine Dion into a rock fest.

I quote a friend of mine, "Yes, except Celine can actually sing"

Hee.

All Pixielott did was fluff her pretty blonde hair around.

(She did have nice hair :)

THENNN...

THENNNNNNNNNNNNN..................................

Finally.

Hoobastank :)

(My first ever rock gig, Hoobastank live in Malaysia 2004. Remember that, Tash?? Of course you do :P hehehee)

And my friend offered to put me on his shoulder so I could get a better view! Woo!!!

(I was like, you sure ah?? I'm damn heavy!!)

But it was Hoobastank. YES!

Nyarhahahahha...

Doug Robb!
Rockstars can look so ugly when their faces are scrunged up while shouting that big note, but boy is that sexy or what??? :D

Yummehhh.....
He was in a crisp, white shirt and a black tie.
And then he got the crowd jumpin to Crawlin In the Dark...
Singing along to the Ghostbusters theme song...
(to which he said "YOU GUYS ARE RIDICULOUS" :D )
And to The Reason :)
I wish they played more.
:(
They left.
Come back again!

And after that, err...got la, some other bands.

The All-American Rejects were fun, they played Swing Swing!! :D
And Kasabian, I've never heard of them before either, they were alright.
I kinda thought Raygun was better :D Very catchy songs.
And by the end of the night, I was spent.
Done for.
But wheeee :D

And I didn't take any pictures for the night.

I have no idea why.
